Philippina “Pina” Bausch had a movie created by her dance company when she passed. It was more abstract than I’d expected but all the dance pieces were amazing. I saw some of the oldest and most racially diverse dancers in this film, but it was fantastic to see the maturity and quality in their movement. The emotions were definitely intense though, on several occasions I couldn’t understand why everyone was so depressed. Guess it’s a thing about artists…
