It’s all about the transitions. You never let go of your energy, and you never let go of your core. You release the energy in your movement, then bring it back to your core before you continue. The movement never stops.

It’s about engaging all your muscles. You have to be in control of every single muscle in your body. Even the slightest move in your arm comes from your core, opens all the muscles through your shoulder to your elbow to your fingers.

It’s about feeling the density of the air. When you move you’re really moving in water. The air is so dense you can feel the effort in all your steps. Feel the density change with each action.

Therein lies the quality.
